Who We Are

Christ Church is a faith community of approximately 330 adults and 150 children located in Mobile, Alabama. After over a century and a half in the Episcopal Church, we re-formed in October of 2000 and immediately affiliated with the Anglican Mission in America. On December 3, 2006, we were blessed to be able to move into our new facilities on the eighteen acre site we purchased in 2005. Situated within three minutes of I-65 in the middle of Mobile, we are easily reached by our members residing throughout Mobile and on both sides of Mobile Bay.

We are a diverse congregation from various religious backgrounds, races, ages, and even nationalities. We are committed to reaching out to the 120 million unchurched people in the United States with the love of Jesus Christ. It is our belief that the Church is most fully what God intends it to be when the three historic traditions - Evangelical, Sacramental, and Charismatic - are woven together in the local congregation. In our worship services we seek to blend ancient and future styles of worship together in a way that ushers us into the intimate Presence of the Father without losing the awe and grandeur of His Holiness. It is our sincere belief that entering His Presence is truly a transforming experience that enables us to become more the people He wants us to be so that we can serve Him in the ways in which He has called us to serve. Hopefully, the following pages will give you a clearer picture of who we are and what we are about. It is our prayer that you will come and worship with us, seeing for yourself what Jesus is doing in and through our faith community.
