We were blessed on Sunday to formally welcome Mike and Debbie Smith and Kellie Sullivan as new members of Christ Church. It is a joy to formally welcome them into our faith community!
Our next Koinonia Sunday is January 29. On 5th Sundays we gather together in a single service at 10:30 am to worship as one church family. Fr. Matt Riley will be preaching,
Last year we began Living By Grace, a twelve week program from Open Hearts Ministry for women who were sexually abused as children. We have had two twelve week sessions in which women's lives have been transformed. Starting in February we will begin a new group.
It is time to prepare for the Koinonia Annual Women’s Retreat, February 24-26, 2012! Every year women gather at Panama City Beach, FL to enjoy Koinonia – fellowship – with God and one another. Our Children’s Ministry is moving along well and things are looking up, literally! There are new decorations in the HIGH 5 room and a new program is in place to better equip our children in understanding the awesome God we serve.
Fr. Jon and Jenni express their deep gratitude to everyone who brought meals, gave gifts and “oohhed and ahhhed” over Sophie in the past seven weeks. Once again, Christ Church has shown itself to be a wonderful loving family, and we are blessed to be so well cared for during this season.
2011 Contributions Statements have been mailed. Please examine them for accuracy as soon as you receive them. Our plans are to close the 2011 contribution module on January 20th (no corrections can be made after that date).

Due to ongoing health issues for Forrest Mobley, the Marriage Conference scheduled for February is postponed until the Fall of this year. Please lift up Forrest in prayer. He has had trouble with his colon leading to a heart attack in December and colon surgery later this month. Once Forrest is in good health, the Conference will be rescheduled.
